You could add viciousness for +1 damage, viciousness+ for +2 or rogue+ for +1 damage against wounded targets if its still not enough damage to kill something in one hit to proc rogue. Its just a build that doesnt need flanking support or material investment. With heroism+ with four attacks it could kill any boss with 60 hp. So (6 damage + 0-3 bonus damage) x 2 = 12-18 damage per hit.

Without the upgrade the bonus damage + potency will be halved which results in 5-7 + (3.6 potency + 3 bonus damage):2 = 5-7 + 3.3 = 8-10 damage on level 7.Īnd if we're talking about damage then the thorn of the fens deals double damage on a flanking attack. A beartouched thornfang hunter still needs to use up one ability slot to upgrade swipe to deal 12-14 damage. Of course this doesnt mean beartouched is better then a thornfang hunter. Lastly at level 7 with 3 bonus damage its 9/10/11įrom my memory there isnt anything that adds additional bonus damage on a hunter so in conclusion, a beartouched thornfang hunter is more cost effective then a water spear thornfang hunter because it doesnt need materials to upgrade a weapon. So using the numbers at level 5 its 2 bonus damage so damage is 8/9/10Īt level 6 with 2.5 bonus damage its still 8/9/10

A two handed water spear from T1/T2/T3 deals 6/7/8 damage plus the bonus damage. Now this can deal with opponents that have 12 hp or lower, which is a lot. If we add +0.4 potency from either weird hook or upbringing then its a 12-14 damage. Now if that hunter levels up once more their potency will be a 3 and bonus damage a 2,5.Īnd finally at level 7, 3.6 potency + 3 bonus damage + 5-7 = 11-13 damage. Meaning this alone deals 9-11 damage without upgrading any weapons. On a legacy character at level 5 that's 2.4 Potency and 2 Bonus damage. Now for hunters they get +0.6 potency and +0.5 bonus damage per level up. Upgraded its 5-7 + (bonus damage + potency) ,1 shred. The swipe gets buffed by both potency and bonus damage. The difference here is the beartouched doesnt need upgrades and doesnt need stunt. Now a water long spear hunter could theoretically do the same if they proc the stunt. This means you can walk up to 2 targets standing next to each other, kill both, move to another 2 targets and attack again. This alone is already amazing but the water proc gives back one action point per stunt so it sorta equals out.īut the nice part is that if you manage to kill 2 targets using it then you get paid back 2 action points. So i put my water long spear hunters in the back and worked on this new build.īeartouched get the ability swipe that allows them to hit up to 2 targets per attack. But enemies have too much health with over 10 hp so they're sorta useless if they cant oneshot enemies to proc rogue to survive.
